Rogers has more than 25 years of experience as a studio illustrator, graphic design, a freelance illustrator and an Illustration Professor. He has worked with a host of advertising, corporate and editorial clients such as Atlanta Journal and Constitution, Wendy’s, Ballantine Books, Boston Globe, McDonald’s Restaurants, Coca-Cola Bottlers Inc, Moody Press, Sylvania and GTE. His artwork has been exhibited and accepted into the Society of Illustrators ‘Our Own Show’ exhibits, Art Educators conference, Richmond Illustrators club and 3x3 4th Annual Pro Show. His work is included in the collections of the Anderson College, Bob Jones University and Savannah College of Art and Design.
Rogers has taught at the Savannah College of Art and Design since 1984 on the undergraduate and graduate level. He was the illustration chair during the years of 1993 -1998. He authored and taught an eLearning graduate course on illustration Techniques.
Rogers attended the famous Illustrators Workshop and Seminar in 1977, Tarrytown, NY and in 2006 the Illustration Academy, Sarasota Florida. Additionally, he studied with Myron Barnstone at the Barnstone Studios training in the method of the masters and the painter’s secret geometry and he has studied with Nathan Fowkes, concept artist for DreamWorks and Disney and Bill Perkins also concept artist for Disney and Disneytoons.

Presentations/Lectures: Presented at University of Hartford Low Residency MFA in Illustration program. Rogers has done many workshops on colored pencils, mixed media and airbrush techniques for art educators.
